I think the “Flipped Off” event at wodapalooza was my favorite event of the competition this year. Every element had a twist to it. Double unders? Nah, heavy rope. GHDs? Forget it, weighted. And I know lots of the athletes there (myself included) had never used the theflipsled before. Throw in a little Miami heat on the black mats and you’ve got yourself a doozy! These are the kind of events you come to competition for. Things that can’t be replicated in your gym and make you learn on the fly.
