LIFTOFF 🚀 // The College of Science & Technology is reaching for the stars – literally! 💫 Last week, Dr. Gerard Blanchard and his research team successfully launched ROOMIE-8 aboard the RockOn rocket at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility, joining five other institutions in this stellar mission. Their innovative ION experiment measured plasma density in the ionosphere, and the ACC experiment recorded rocket re-entry dynamics. Months of hard work and meticulous preparation led to a successful launch. We’re incredibly proud of our professors and students for their dedication and excellence in advancing STEM.
