Dimes once again. What a week it’s been for the USWNT. Over the weekend they beat New Zealand 5-0, on Tuesday they struck a crucial settlement in court, and last night they claimed their 5th SheBelieves Cup title behind a 5-0 rout of Iceland. It was a cold night in Texas but nothing could hold them back. Catarina Macario had one of those special nights, opening the score with a gorgeous curler and then adding a second with a delicious chip over the keeper. Mallory Pugh picked up right where she left off last game and added two goals herself in the second half. Kristie Mewis then put the cherry on top with a soft finish in the 88’. This team full of fresh faces is building up to be something special.
