After being sent home in the last qualifying window, McKennie returned to the USMNT starting XI on Thursday night against Jamaica, putting on a promising performance in the NT’s second win of the qualifiers. Pulling the strings in midfield and connecting well with teammates Tyler Adams and Yunus Musah, it was easy to forget that he’d missed the team’s last qualifying match. With McKennie back in the lineup, the boys will look to come out of Panama with another win this Sunday. The road is long, but this team is starting to find its rhythm.
