In honor of the 50th Anniversary of Title IX, Long Beach State is highlighting 9 of the greatest moments in Long Beach State Women’s Sports history. #1 Cindy Brown. Brown set the NCAA record for most points scored in a Women’s Basketball game in 1987, scoring 60 points in a win for the Beach over San Jose State.
