After dropping early to New Mexico United in the first half, the Rising came out relentless, bombing down the midfield. Led by who else but Santi Moar.
@jcali15 would clean up not once, but twice, scoring two quick goals in succession to take control of the lead. It was all looking smooth until what was supposed to be a punch clearance by
@andremrawlsy ricochetted off of
@musa41_ for a game-tying own goal. Giving life back to New Mexico as the ball bounced their way.
But soccer is a funny game, poetic in many ways.
