Pulisic said it best, it just wasn’t good enough. USMNT vs Canada. The long awaited first home qualifier to the 2022 World Cup ended in a 1-1 draw last night — and against a team with Alphonso Davies and the most in-form striker in CONCACAF at the moment — it was never going to be easy. Cyle Larin’s 9th goal in World Cup Qualifiers silenced a stadium that had been roaring all night, but only for a second. USMNT fans showed up loud, and although the only win the U.S. got last night was in the stands, those wins will soon have to start happening on the field in order to achieve a World Cup berth. It’s impossible to ignore that with every dropped point, the ghosts of 2018 grow louder. Despite the tie, this is only the beginning, and with talents like Brenden Aaronson and Miles Robinson improving every time they play for the NT, it’s just a matter of time until the wins start rolling through. Hopefully it’s sooner rather than later. 📸: @davewphotography #usmnt #pulisic #usmntsoccer #...
