WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange was on his way Tuesday to a U.S. court in the Pacific territory of the Northern Mariana Islands, where he was expected to enter a plea deal with the U.S. government that will end his legal case and allow him to return to his home of Australia. He’s expected to plead guilty to an Espionage Act charge of conspiring to unlawfully obtain and disseminate classified national defense information, according to the U.S. Justice Department in a letter filed in court.
