Learn more about why she's wearing a mask! 😷 Q: Who do you wear a mask for? A: I wear a mask for anyone and everyone around me. You never know how someone’s body is going to react to the virus, young or old, and I believe it is our job to take precautions for each other, especially as future health care professionals. Q: Why is wearing a mask important? A: Wearing a mask has been shown scientifically by multiple outlets to decrease transmission of COVID-19 and many other infectious agents. Even if it hadn’t been demonstrated by raw data, at the worst, I have a piece of cloth on my face. At best, I am saving someone’s life and preventing further spread.
