Kevin Dominguez's first encounter with the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers (SHPE) was in his freshman year of high school when he visited a local university. The experience and potential impact of groups like this made a long-lasting impression on him. Now, as president of New York Tech’s SHPE, he has one goal in mind: “to be a well-known club [where students] can network and gain knowledge…so everyone can sit at the table,” says the 21-year-old. With a passion for critical thinking and serving others, Dominguez has a long list of career goals. Whether it's working for a defense company as a system engineer or a start-up tech company that develops innovative devices, Dominguez simply wants to make a difference in his community and the world.
