Miranda Cabiladas is pursuing an M.B.A. at NYIT-Vancouver, but the degree wasn’t something she planned on until recently. Her educational journey began at Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines. After two years, she was offered a scholarship to attend Sorbonne University in Paris, and embarked on the new adventure with no hesitations.
In 2009, she received a B.A. in European studies, followed by a master’s in international relations in 2010. “I have always been fascinated and interested in politics. It is something I am still very interested in today,” Cabiladas said about her decision to get her master’s degree. She loved Paris so much that she stayed in the city for a decade, working for a research agency and as a high school English instructor.
