It took @davewphotography 14 hours to get from Atlanta to Philly. For us who joined on the way, it was only two. In a much more real sense, though, the build-up to our first big meeting took nearly three years. From every corner of North America, we've all worked together over Zoom and over the phone for what feels like an eternity. Finally, we had the chance to meet at the Icarus Cup, a 41-team tournament in Philly hosted by our friends over at @icarusfootball. We played a few matches, enjoyed the Euro & Copa America finals, and spent time getting to really know the partners that have slowly turned into friends. Personally, I had no doubts that those three days at the Icarus Cup would be the highlight of my year. This is the story of Club Eleven at the Icarus Cup.
