Playing at “home” in Red Bull Arena, @nycfc were able to bounce back from last week’s Hudson River Derby defeat and beat the @columbuscrewsc 1-0 on Monday night. With the match scoreless early in the second half, Alex Ring found the lone goal of the game after a sloppy giveaway from the Crew defense. Heber intercepted a stray pass from the back line and squared the ball to Ring for an easy tap in. NYCFC would hold on to the result and earn their second regular season victory. NYCFC now tally six points and sit in 11th place in the East. Despite the loss, @gyasinho and the Crew remain atop the Eastern Conference.
