After 10 years of broadcasting, Tiger Network has produced not just stellar coverage of Trinity sports but also an outstanding legacy of alumni who’ve gone on to lead successful careers in sports journalism. Brian Yancelson ’22, the newest addition to this legacy, is now the broadcast engineer for the San Antonio Missions, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres. He produces every game and travels with the team, jumping on air for both play-by-play and color commentary. Brian loved working for Tiger Network because it challenged him to try out new things and encouraged him to learn in real time. He acquired valuable skills by shadowing his fellow interns and working closely with executive producer Josh Moczygemba ’05 and creative producers Ryan Sedillo and Mason McLerran.
