Last week, we welcomed two groups of students to campus for Field Trip Friday, a new and exciting program bringing free education to Baltimore City students.
“We had a great time on Friday with a group of high school students from Baltimore. It was a fun challenge to adapt our Creativity Unlimited program for that audience, and all of us leading the program enjoyed seeing the students' creativity and energy in their final performances with puppet and human actors,” said Deborah Wood, Maryland Center for History and Culture (MCHC) Museum Learning Manager pictured here guiding a workshop from early this summer. “At the same time, we had yet more students exploring our Discover Maryland exhibition, using their curiosity to learn about local history."
Baltimore City students are invited to participate in a wide range of activities across the city, including visits like these to MCHC and other local sites – all completely free.
