We wouldn't be the institution we are today without generous donors like Frederick resident Marlene Young, who recently donated 15 dresses and accessories designed by Maryland-native Claire McCardell to our fashion archives. Some of these donations will likely be added to our upcoming exhibition opening in October spotlighting McCardell's contributions to American sportswear.
