Today is Paul Henderson’s birthday! Henderson was born in 1899 and became a well-known photographer in Baltimore during the civil rights movement. He worked for the Afro- American newspaper, and his photography earned him several awards. Henderson was an active member in his church, neighborhood, the NAACP, and supported the Salvation Army.
