This Friday, September 24, MCHC members are invited to get an up close look at the archaeological site where the original St. Mary’s Fort from 1634 has recently been discovered after a 90-year search. The daylong, members-only event at Historic St. Mary’s City will include exclusive programming for our members such as a guided walking tour, a presentation on recent archaeological research on the Fort of 1634, and an evening reception featuring light food and drinks overlooking the St. Mary’s River.
