As summer approaches, we invite visitors under 18 to learn something new about Maryland history during summer break with a free visit to the museum, June 2-August 28. Younger visitors will enjoy exploring the museum's thought-provoking exhibitions that bring history to life using objects, artwork, and documents, including the new exhibition, "Discover Maryland." Pick up a scavenger hunt for "Discover Maryland" at the Visitor Services desk. Also, people of all ages can enjoy free admission on First Thursdays and Second Saturdays. On Second Saturday, June 12, enjoy family-friendly button-making and drawing activities inside the "Discover Maryland" exhibition, 10 a.m.-noon.
