Join the Baltimore County Public Library (bcplinfo) and the Maryland Center for History and Culture on Tuesday, March 23, at 11:30 a.m. for a free virtual field trip - "First Contact: Native Americans in Colonial Maryland."
Participants will see the Maryland experienced by European colonists – not a new and undiscovered world but a Maryland already inhabited for thousands of years by Native Americans. As part of the cyber-tour, explore the museum’s collection, including artifacts created by Native Americans and written records of the Europeans to examine the cultural exchange between the groups.
Registration for this virtual field trip will close one hour before the start of the program. You can reserve your spot by visiting
bcpl.info.
