“Without a doubt goals change games. They hadn’t done very much up to the first goal but they had the good fortune to open the score. We made mistakes in their first goal, and opening the score allowed them to relax. Afterwards we could have scored ourselves with the good chances that we had. There were two clear ones we had that got called off for offsides. I think our inefficiency is what prevented us to level the game at 1-1. They had a couple of chances, mainly in giveaways that we had, but those two goals gave them the opportunity to manage the game -- to be calmer. Maybe not manage it exactly since the game in general was very competitive and open, but it gave them the peace of mind to know that the game was theirs and that we were the ones who had to risk things and chase the game.
