@chicagofire delivered an exciting contest that ended in a 3-3 tie. The visitors managed to put themselves up 2-0 within the first fifteen minutes of play. Chicago striker C.J. Sapong flicked a header off a set piece for the opening goal, and Mihailovic added a second thanks to a long range effort that ricocheted off a D.C. United defender. Late in the first half, though, D.C. United pulled a goal back thanks to Ulises Segura. Titi Rodriguez managed to net a second goal for the Black-and-Red right before the stroke of halftime, but the goal was called back by VAR for an apparent handball. In the second half, D.C. United eventually found the tying goal through Ulises Segura. Jara played a fantastic through ball down the right touchline which left Segura 1v1 with Kronholm.
