The Phillipsburg Manor House -- Sleepy Hollow -- Owned and built by the Dutch merchant, Frederick Phillipse, in 1693. After he pledged his allegiance to England he was chartered SO MUCH land along the Hudson River in Westchester, from Spuyten Duyvill to the Croton.
