I tried something new on Wednesday--going with the rabbit! Teammate declancmurray was right on pace as we went through 1009m in a solid 2:24. That is by far the fastest I have ever gone out, and I've definitely never done it from the front, but it was worth it! I held on for 3rd and 3:58, but david_torrence and garrettheath crushed it running 3:53 and 3:54 respectively. I like to think next year we will have top athletes around the world knocking down the door to come race on Long Island because of it.
