To celebrate the start of summer basketball in NYC, keitabd teamed up with the NBPA and nycparks for the annual “Let’s Get Ready to Rucker” community day. While there, Keita and his foundation donated an AED to nextuporg, supporting his foundation’s mission to drive awareness of lifesaving CPR skills and AED education. This cause is especially important to Keita and his family, as Keita’s younger brother, Kai, suffered a cardiac arrest and collapsed during a high school basketball practice in 2017.
