3 years ago, teamusa sent me to #TrackFieldTrials21. Little did I know, that would start me down a journey of thousands of miles and countless new friends. Later that year, when I was looking for a new hobby to replace swimming, claytonmurphy’s posts kept popping up in my feed. I took it as a sign, and on 12/2/21 I laced up my shoes. I didn’t even make it a mile before I had to take a break. Cut to this past weekend, on the 2nd day of #TrackFieldTrials24, I ran my 3rd marathon and qualified for bostonmarathon. Through running, I’ve made so many friends and learned so much about myself and the world around me. Thanks to Coach zan.johnson, my Horse Girls long run group, thelooprunning, and countless others for sharing miles and support to get me here.
