lelav89 🔺Day 4 of the 35th Delta Days at the Nation’s Capitol. We scheduled appointments with Alabama’s 7 representatives and 2 Senators. Unfortunately we spoke with the individuals who worked in that particular elected officials office. The only Representative that took the time to visit with us personally was Congresswoman Terri Sewell who literally left a committee hearing and ran to meet us in her office. You would assume the elected officials are all working and performing their duties making them to busy to visit with us but that’s not the case. Ironically while we were walking to Senator Tubberville’s for our scheduled meeting he was on the Capitol steps engaging with other Alabama constituents not prioritizing the ones who had an appointment with him.
