#repost purelyjess If you had told me a decade ago that my first trip to the annual Delta Days at the Nation’s Capital would be as an invited guest/speaker, I don’t know if I would have believed you. 😅 And yet, I spent the morning laughing with my current and past national presidents before my talk and I spent the afternoon sharing a stage with the NAACP, Campus Voter Project and Backbone’s first major partner, When We All Vote. 🤯 Grateful for those who see my work and continue to speak my name in spaces I have yet to enter (kris_thedaughter victoria_juste1).
