Rest in Christ. 🕊️ a lot of times we think we need to have our lives together before we can rest. the world puts so much pressure on our minds saying things like, “you can rest after you graduate” or “you can rest when you get your dream job”, not realizing that we end up making these ‘goals’ to be idols in our hearts. we take the idea of “rest” and place it into the hands of our own ability and circumstance rather than placing it into the hands of Christ. the more you seek to know and love Jesus, the more fulfillment and rest you will find than anything else in this world. He is the True and Living Water for all who thirst. you don’t need to be perfect or “good enough” to meet with your Creator. you don’t even need to have the right words to say. you simply just need a repentant heart go to your Heavenly Father in humility and sit in His presence, opening up your heart to hear from Him the next time you feel overwhelmed or anxious, maybe it’s a sign the Lord is asking to meet...
