Here’s your first look at another one of the year’s most anticipated releases – the ASICS Superblast 2. Heralded by some as the “shoe of the year” in 2023, the Superblast gets a few notable updates in its second iteration. First, two changes to the midsole: FF Blast Turbo Plus foam replaces FF Blast Turbo and FF Blast Plus Eco replaces FF Blast Plus, creating a complementary soft-to-bouncy ratio underfoot. Next, an ASICSGRIP outsole enhances durability and traction and the deep grooves we saw in the first version have been tightened up, preventing debris from collecting underfoot.
