SLHS student Greta Thane is a person who stutters, and she recently volunteered with blankcenterstuttering’s Camp Dream. Speak. Live., an evidence-based treatment program for children who stutter that offers a paradigm shift wherein rather than attempting to fix stuttering, all participants are empowered to stutter openly, communicate effectively, speak confidently, and advocate meaningfully. “The Blank Center is a dream come true for me and everyone who stutters. The Blank Center CARE Model has empowered me to be my most authentic self.
