What is strength? Define it? If you search through various sources you can come up with 16 different type of strengths?!? Sounds too damn complicated to me‼️ Here’s a few to mention: Strength Endurance, Speed Endurance, Brute Strength, Relative Strength, Explosive Strength, Reactive Ability, Agile Strength, and Maximum Strength. What is your strength defined by? The amount of weight on a barbell? Baseline tests for your respective sport? Your physique? Over the years I’ve put up some serious “numbers”, but other than the actual “lift” itself I can’t really think of how else to celebrate the accomplishment? I guess posting it on IG and pulling out my phone to say “Hey, look!”. Constantly being in a state of convalescence has pushed me to redefine what strength is to me. The barbell didn’t translate to movements I was looking to improve that didn’t involve the barbell. Furthermore, I began to see my movement begin to deteriorate.
