After exploding onto to the Pro Strongman scene in 2020, the memory Luke Richardson competing in strongman has become something of folklore status. Luke was a Junior IPF Powerlifting world champion, with a 1000kg+ total and a 403kg raw squat. He competed at Official Strongman Games European Championships in 2019 and finished 7th. A few months later he competed at the OSG World Championships and took home the gold. Winning OSG qualified him for Britain's Strongest Man where he finished 4th. After lockdowns restrictions lifted in 2020 he came and WON Europe's Strongest Man, beating legends of the sport like Adam Bishop, Graham Hicks, Terry Hollands, Mark Felix and Gavin Bilton. He made a huge impression on his debut appearance at World's Strongest Man, making it to the final on his first try.
