Brazilian scientists from the Emilio Goeldi Paraense Museum found three new species of spiders— which they named after the “Big Three” from #StarTrek, including Captain James T. Kirk, Mister Spock, and Doctor Leonard “Bones” McCoy. ⁠ ⁠ The spiders belong to the Roddenberry genus, influenced after the film franchise's creator #GeneRoddenberry.
