Last week Canterbury Elementary School hosted its annual back-to-school event! District 47 would like to thank our Crystal Lake businesses for making Canterbury's Back to School event a huge success. Thank you to Dawn Costable Maginity, the Regional Manager of Pearle Vision. Ms. Maginity was accompanied by Dr. Hung, Rory Zimmy, and Mary Kato. All are employees of Pearle Vision, and they provided our students with free eye exams. We are also grateful for Dr. Speller, Kim, and Bridget from Smile Dentistry of Illinois for providing free teeth cleaning services and dental exams. Thank you to Mr. Dvoracek from Head Designer Salon for providing haircuts at no cost! Lastly, we wanted to give a special thanks to everyone who helped with this event, from Willow Crystal Lake and Shepherd Premier Senior Living, for donating school supplies!
