Last weekend Mrs. Kuligowsk's 5th graders’ interest in engineering and a part of an EC extra-curricular project created two cardboard regattas. There were 10 students who worked in two teams on two different boats. They started working in April and continued to meet over the summer at the Lancasters’ house. Parent helpers included Scott Hayden (who guided the students in boat design and physics), Marianne Rasmussen (who made all the costumes), Kelly and Josh Lancaster (who opened their home and garage to us), Kelly Schmit, Matt Koll, and Mr. Seiler.
