Our new brush truck, stationed at Station 8 in Suncrest, was lettered today and should be ready to go in service, just in time for wildland fire season (and the busy 4th of July long weekend). Also lettered today was Squad 2 and Squad 8. These rigs will be used in our new EMS-only program (Squad 8 will be in service tonight). This program allows those that want to do only medical calls to volunteer with us. They will respond to a majority of our calls, helping spread out the increasing call volume, and being ready for your emergencies.
