Eight-year-old Emry, born and raised in San Diego, plays tackle football (RB and LB) with the Eastlake Panthers and is crushing it! Coached by her dad and three uncles, they believe that she can do anything she sets her mind to! Her mom believes her daughter is ahead of her time and supports her passion playing tackle football. Emry loves her helmet, saying it makes her feel so cool—and we couldn’t agree more! You are indeed cool, Emry! One day, girls like Emry will grow up to be a woman in tackle football and will have equal access to resources, equity, and opportunities in football just like our male counterparts.
