College and career counselor Camille Nix takes advantage of her preferential seating at graduation, moving between austinisd superintendent Matias Segura and principal Andy Baxa so she can greet senior Terron Hall as he receives his diploma at the McCallum commencement ceremony at the Burger Activity Center on May 30.
In her open letter to the Class of 2024, Nix said that Hall came to Room 130 every morning to deliver a similar hug and morning greeting to Nix.
“He is the most kind kid in the world,” Nix told the Shield. “He is pure joy.”
