Outside the 📦kerrodgraygolf ・・・ THE ART OF GOLF & THINKING OUTSIDE OF THE BOX Some shots require extreme manipulation of the setup & swing to produce the desired result. Here I demonstrate a short sided flop shot from a severe downhill, ball below my feet sloping lie from the black slope of a bunker. To get the ball stopping quickly I had to ensure that I had enough speed & loft whilst also controlling the arc height and leftward swing direction to ensure reasonable contact. The follow-through is an affect of how extreme the cutting across motion needed to be to pull this off. When practising; throw yourself in challenging lies and figure out a solution. Feel it through your hands and arms and focus more on the contact and what you imagine the delivery of the club needs to be at impact to produce the desired result.
