Swipe ➡️Below information ⬇️ It can happen sub consciously when players are looking to have a “shallow shaft” in the down swing they get caught up chasing it in the backswing. We want the shaft at p5 to replace the position of the shaft at p3. A steeper shaft through p3 (lead arm parallel to the ground) helps the momentum of the centre of mass move in a fashion that looks to be shallowing. A shaft that is too flat on the way back will have momentum throw it back over and result in a steeper shaft in the down swing.
