# 3 GAME OF THE 2018 SEASON: WEEK 10 VS IOWA - The week before we had taken a tough loss to Notre Dame at home and were looking for a strong bounce back at Iowa. There was also a chance if we took the dub at Kinnick and Purdue & Wisconsin lost that we would become Big Ten West Champs. During the actual game however, it was a tight contest. There was only a field goal scored at the half with Iowa leading 3-0. We finally got things going in the second half though, outscoring the Hawkeyes at their “blackout” game 14-10 final. Purdue and Wisconsin also ended up losing as well which meant that we became champs of the B1G West! Winning the West, an even matchup with a low-scoring defensive battle, earning the first top 25 ranking of the season, and the iconic Ben Skowronek catch.
