TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS, TURNOVERS!!! After a 20-3 first half deficit, the ‘cats rally back against the Utes, scoring 28 unanswered points in the 3rd quarter and winning 31-20! I think the biggest thing to take away from the game is how scary our defense can be if they show up. Six turnovers, three sacks, and held their offense under 100 total rushing yds. Thorson also had a nice game to cap off his career at Northwestern, going 21/30, 241 pass yds, and 2 TDs. This game is Northwestern’s 15th bowl game appearance and fifth bowl game win in program history (4/5 have been under current HC Pat Fitzgerald).
