NORTHWESTERN BEATS THE BADGERS 31-17!!! IF YOU WEREN’T WITH US DURING THE AKRON LOSS OR DUKE GAME, THEN HOP OFF THE BANDWAGON!! The game didn’t look great for us at the start, as Wisconsin took a quick 7-0 lead, but ended up outscoring them 14-10 at the half. After halftime, there was no looking back and we stormed over Big Red by two touchdowns to give us the 31-17 win. An improvement I saw from today was definitely our run game. Isaiah Bowser rushed for 117 yds and a TD and Thorson had a couple good runs for 29 yds total and two TDs. It looks like we may finally have the whole situation figure out. Another thing that looked I saw today was the offensive line. They looked great out there, allowing plenty of time for Thorson in the pocket and zero sacks. Our passing game also continues to be our strongest weapon with the depth of receivers like Nagel, Skrownek, McGowan, Jefferson, etc. The biggest thing we need to work on still is Thorson consistency.
