NORTHWESTERN WINS 34-31!! The cardiac cats strike again and comeback from a 14 point deficit to beat the Huskers in OT. Nebraska scored on the first possession in just 4 plays, which wasn’t a good sign for us. We ended up scoring 14 in the second quarter and the score became 14-13 us at the half. Eventually the score became 31-24 Nebraska and got the ball back with not even a minute left. We started with the ball on our 1 yard line and rallied 99 yards down the field for a game-tying TD. In overtime Nebraska started with the ball first but after a botched fumble Martinez (Nebraska’s QB) threw a pick to DB JR Pace. On our possession we ended up going for a FG from K Drew Luckenbaugh (backup kicker by the way) and it went through the uprights to give us our second consecutive conference win.
