NORTHWESTERN WINS 29-19!!! Huge win for the program and certainly a season-changer. We started the game as the ones who scored first and the score at halftime was 14-6. From there we never looked back and took the dub. I saw a lot of positives in this game, the biggest being Thorson’s performance. He looked the most comfortable he’s been all season and WENT OFF. He tossed 3 TD’s and ran one in for 6 as well. Thorson also threw 31/47 for 373 yds. It looks like he’s returned to being the phenomenal quarterback he is. Flynn Nagel continues to look great for us with 10 receptions this game for 111 yds. Defensively, we played a lot better than we’ve been in recent weeks and the secondary looked sharper as well. I also heard some names from other guys we haven’t seen too much this season including Kyric McGowan who caught a TD and had 77 yds, Jordan Jefferson who had a TD catch (also had big play last week vs Michigan), and Trent Goens who had a sack and two tackles.
