NORTHWESTERN WINS 31-27! There were a lot of positives we saw this game such as running back Jeremy Larkin rushing for 140 yds and 2 TDs as well as John Moten IV getting a TD during the game as well. We also saw the debut of QB TJ Green who had a decent game, throwing for 70 yds, going 8/12 on the night, and also had a rushing touchdown. Clay Thorson has a nice game as well, going 16/26 and throwing for 172 yds. However, there still is a lot of work to be done as we didn’t score any points in the second half and allowed Purdue to outscore us 10-0. There were also a couple of drops, overthrows, and overall mishaps but that is usually normal for the first game of the season. But a win is a win and our main focus now is to beat Duke.
