As children spend more time at home the next few weeks, it’s important to find fun and safe ways for them to play. Please keep these tips in mind: 1) At home, curious children (especially those under age 5) may play with fire in bedrooms, closets, under beds or other “secret” places. Consider a “match and lighter round-up” with your children and then store them out of reach. 2) Kids may be charging devices more, overloading wall outlets or power strips could cause an electrical fire. Pick different spots in your home to charge devices to avoid a hazard. 3) Before giving your kids their electronics this week, check the charging cords!
