Fifth through eighth graders enjoyed an author visit from Francisco Jiménez, a Mexican-American writer and professor at santaclarauniversity — eighth graders read his book, The Circuit: Stories from the Life of a Migrant Child, in their Religion class with Mr. Kanelopoulos, and were able to ask over a dozen thoughtful questions of the author at the end of his presentation. #shsatherton #shsauthorvisit #authorvisit
