A student-led middle school Hispanic/LatinX Heritage Month assembly today celebrated the range of cultures with informative, interactive presentations by six students in grades 6 & 7. Budding documentarians showcased video interviews of a half-dozen faculty and staff with LatinX roots, with thoughtful questions including, “where is home for you, and where did you grow up?” and, “what do you like most about your culture?” An art exhibit in the hallway to the auditorium celebrated Hispanic and LatinX artists. #hispanicheritagemonth #latinxheritagemonth #shsatherton #shsmiddleschool
